| | thankful | ] | Last night, when Joe came over to clear my driveway, I asked him when/if the plows ever come through our neighborhood. He shook his head and said, "I wouldn't expect to see one until sometime late tomorrow evening." It's weird to live in a neighborhood where everyone is stuck at home. Even if there was something that was open that we could go to, nobody's getting out.
The cool thing is, everyone seems to help neighbors out. The people with snow blowers have been out clearing everyone's driveway. Ute came over this morning and said that she had made some coffee and was wondering if I wanted some. She said she was going around and saying hello to everyone and thought she'd check on me. This is exactly what I wanted. What great people to be stuck with. |
